Domaine du Castel 'Petit Castel' 2024 Wine tasting notes for La Part du Diable 2016 The fox that graces thisPetit Castel is the second wine from Domaine du Castel. Petit Castel is an assemblage of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot, cabernet franc and malbec. Petit Castel has a deep royal purple color in the glass. It is a full bodied wine with a hint of tannin and a harmonious balance of fruit and oak. The wine is aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by about 4 months in concrete tanks prior to bottling. The wine is at its peak
