Filtering the oil is quick and easy, and will preserve the life of your vacuum pump and increase the performance of your freeze dryer. One free oil filter is included with the shipment of each freeze dryer (except when the Oil Free pump upgrade is purchased). Premier Oil Pump and Standard Oil Pump both need to have their oil filtered.
